Module 01 of 11

Introduction to Python

Lessons

About This Module

Before writing any code, it helps to know what Python actually is and why it's become the language so many people reach for first. This module is that on-ramp: it's short, but it gives you the context that makes every later module click faster.

It starts with a quick overview of what Python is and what makes it different from a compiled language. From there it covers real-world use cases — web development, data science, automation, and more — so you can see where the skills you're about to build actually get used. It closes with a full beginner course that walks through the language end to end, which you can use as a companion as you move through the rest of this course.

Watch the lessons in order, then continue on to Installation & Setup.
