Module 12 of 12

Data Storytelling & Stakeholders

Lessons

About This Module

The best analysis in the world changes nothing if nobody understands it or acts on it. Data storytelling is the skill of wrapping your findings in a clear narrative, with a point, a supporting chart and a recommendation, so that decision-makers see what the numbers mean and what to do next.

You'll start with how to tell a story with data, including a simple setup, conflict and resolution structure, and how to present insights to senior leaders. Then you'll move on to working with stakeholders: asking the right questions up front, gathering requirements, setting expectations, and keeping people informed.

This is the final module of the BI Analyst course. Put everything you've learned into practice with the Projects.
