Good prompts work best when they sit on top of a good plan. Before you ask an AI to build anything, it pays to decide what you are building, what it should and should not do, and what the AI needs to know so that it stays consistent from one session to the next.
This module starts with writing a short product spec that describes the app, who it is for, and how it should behave. It then covers breaking the spec into features you can build and test one at a time, and giving the AI the right context about your project. It finishes with rules files, small documents that carry your decisions and standards into every session so you do not have to repeat them.
Watch the lessons in order, then continue on to Building Your First App.
A simple file-based system for planning a project and keeping an AI coding agent consistent as your app grows.
An introduction to spec-driven development: writing a specification first, then letting the AI plan and build from it.
A quick way to create Cursor rules that describe your project structure and tech stack so the AI follows them.
