Running one container is easy. Running hundreds of them reliably, across many machines, with updates, scaling, and self-healing, is what Kubernetes is for. It has become the standard platform for running containerized workloads, and most platform engineering work touches it.
You'll start with the core building blocks: pods, deployments, services, ingress, and storage. Then you'll learn to package and customize workloads with Helm and Kustomize, so the same application can be deployed cleanly to different environments.
Next up is Infrastructure as Code, where you'll define the infrastructure underneath your clusters in version-controlled code.
A concise introduction to the core Kubernetes concepts: nodes, pods, services, and deployments, plus kubectl basics and a demo project deploying a web app with MongoDB.
A complete hands-on course covering Kubernetes architecture, Minikube and kubectl, services, ingress, volumes, StatefulSets, and an introduction to Helm.
How Helm works as a package manager for Kubernetes, including charts, values files, and templating your manifests.
An introduction to Kustomize for customizing Kubernetes manifests with overlays, without templates, so one base can serve many environments.
