Module 08 of 10

Spring Boot & REST APIs

Lessons

About This Module

This is where everything comes together. Spring Boot is the most widely used framework for building Java backends, and it takes the code you've written so far and turns it into a web service that other applications and users can call over HTTP.

You'll start with how a Spring Boot project is set up and how dependency injection wires your classes together. Then you'll build REST APIs with controllers and the standard CRUD endpoints, store data with Spring Data JPA, and make your API dependable with validation and clear error responses.

With a working API in hand, you'll be ready for the next module, Security & Microservices, where you'll protect your services and split larger systems into smaller ones.
