Module 12 of 13

UX Writing, Handoff & Metrics

Lessons

About This Module

A great design isn't finished when the screens look right. The words need to guide people, developers need to build exactly what you intended, and the team needs to know whether the result actually works. This module covers those last three steps.

UX writing and microcopy are the small pieces of text (buttons, labels, errors, empty states) that tell users what to do next. You'll then learn how to prepare a handoff developers can rely on, including working with Dev Mode in Figma. Finally, you'll see how to measure success with UX metrics and Google's HEART framework.

Treat the videos as a reference and come back to them when you finalise your own designs. When you're done, continue on to Portfolio & Case Studies.
